Let’s play “Would you rather…”

1️⃣Would you rather be short of breath momentarily while running or your whole life from smoking?

2️⃣Would you rather struggle in the gym with high box, weighted step ups, or be embarrassed because you can’t take the stairs (make multiple excuses why- like a “bad” knee or hip) or walk up bleachers at a sporting event?

3️⃣Would you rather do weighted burpees and almost vomit (just kidding) or not be able to get up when you fall in the bathroom?

I am making light of this but trust me when I say this is all becoming prevalent at younger ages…

I am not talking about 80 or 90 year olds, I am speaking specifically to 30, 40, 50, 60 year olds.

I know what I rather do….

I really like this picture- sorry I cannot remember where I copied it from. It shows what hinging at the hips, pushing your butt back, and keeping your chest up, to not round your spine looks like. This is a strong, & safe position for lifts.
