I spent years thinking I just needed to try harder.
More cardio.
More restriction.
More discipline.
More “starting over on Monday.”
And every time my body stopped responding, I blamed myself.
What I didn’t understand then was this:
My body wasn’t fighting me.
It was protecting me.
Midlife changed everything.
Recovery mattered more.
Muscle mattered more.
Stress mattered more.
And punishing myself was no longer getting me where I wanted to go.
So I stopped chasing smaller.
And started building stronger.
Stronger physically.
Stronger mentally.
Stronger in the way I speak to myself.
That shift changed everything for me.
This is exactly why I created Midlife Power.
Not to help women become less…
but to help them feel powerful in their bodies again.
And honestly?
I think more women need to hear that their body is not broken.
It just needs a different kind of support now. 💛
