Come enjoy an afternoon of culture, community, and connection with live talent, drumming, hair braiding, kids’ crafts, games, bannock on a stick, door prizes, and more!

Join us for Indigenous Day on June 18th from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM at Nawican Friendship Centre!
We’re excited to welcome an incredible lineup of community members who will be helping us celebrate Indigenous culture, traditions, and community spirit.

🥁 Drum Group led by Ginger Dumais
🎶 Live Entertainment by Ivan Paquette
🎵 Live Music by Penny Goulet
🪶 Traditional Jigging by Bev Lambert
💇 Hair Braiding by Denicia Taylor and Chanelle Larocque

There will also be bannock on a stick, drumming, crafts, games, cultural activities, and door prizes throughout the afternoon!
This is a day to gather, celebrate, learn, and connect. Everyone is welcome, and we look forward to sharing this special event with our community!

At this time, we are temporarily not accepting clothing donations.
We sincerely appreciate the generosity and support our community has shown through past donations. Due to limited storage space and current inventory levels, we are unable to accept additional clothing items until further notice.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support! We will provide an update when clothing donations resume.
