This season, we once again hosted our Men’s and Ladies Bonspiels over the same weekend, with both events running side by side.

With our Jukebox Oldies theme, great costumes, competitive games, and a full lounge all weekend long, the club was buzzing from start to finish 👏

As we wrap up the 2025–2026 season at the Dawson Creek Curling Club 🙌

It’s been a busy and memorable year, from bonspiels and league play to playoffs and club championships.

Throughout the season, we’ve seen great competition, strong sportsmanship, and a clubhouse full of energy, both on and off the ice 🥌

Over the next few days, we’ll be taking a look back at some of the highlights and recognizing the teams and individuals who made this season such a success 👇

GET YOUR TEAM REGISTRATIONS IN! Spiel Feb 20-22!

The Dawson Creek Curling Club is excited to invite teams to our Annual Ovintiv Men’s and Ladies Bonspiels, happening February 20–22, 2026! Get ready for a weekend packed with great curling, fantastic food, and lively social events on and off the ice.

EVENT DETAILS:
• Dates: February 20–22, 2026
• Cost: $340 per team (includes Saturday breakfast & banquet dinner)
• Format: 8-end games with up to 32 teams

Note: Game length may be adjusted if needed based on final team numbers to support smooth draws and proper ice maintenance.

HIGHLIGHTS:
• Friday appetizers
• Silent auctions & merchandise prizes
• Music & great club atmosphere
• Famous club hospitality & banquet
• Ladies Bonspiel costume theme & games (Theme: the letter “J”)

💙🥌 Proud to Support Special Olympics Curling at the Dawson Creek Curling Club 🥌💙

This past weekend, the Dawson Creek Curling Club was proud to host the Special Olympics Dawson Creek Tornados as they competed in our Ovintiv Annual Mixed Bonspiel, playing against a variety of teams throughout the weekend. The Tornados are a valued part of our club community and practice here every Thursday.

We were so proud of the way the athletes competed, supported one another, and embraced the spirit of the game. It was a powerful reminder of what inclusive sport and community curling are all about.

We’re grateful to the athletes, coaches, volunteers, families, and supporters who help make this program such a success.

We’re proud to have you as part of the Dawson Creek Curling Club and look forward to many more Thursdays and weekends, on the ice together! 👏💫

🏆 2026 Annual Mixed Bonspiel – Winners & Runner-Ups 🥌

What an incredible weekend at the Dawson Creek Curling Club! From January 23–25, we welcomed amazing teams, great competition, and plenty of laughs on and off the ice.

🥇 A Event Champions
A big congratulations to Team Powell: Kenny Powell, Gail Stefanyk, Gwen Wildeman & Randy Carlstad on taking home the A Event title, well played and well deserved!

We also want to congratulate all of our Event Winners and Runner-Ups across the A–E Events. Your teamwork, sportsmanship, and competitive spirit truly made this bonspiel special.

👏 A huge thank you to Ovintiv for proudly presenting this year’s Mixed Bonspiel and for supporting curling in our community.

We’re also so thankful for the incredible support from our local business community. Your generosity helps make weekends like this possible, and it doesn’t go unnoticed. Please consider shopping local and supporting the businesses that support curling and community sport.
