A new piece has found its way into the journal:
The Shape of a Slow Holiday
This one began with a few ordinary days close to home.
Rain.
Tea on the deck.
Quiet roads.
A lake that did not need the weather to be perfect.
A picnic in the car.
The kind of day that gives enough
without needing to become more.
It became a reflection on the softer shape a holiday can take when we stop asking it to prove itself.
Not every beautiful day is flawless.
Not every meaningful holiday needs to be full.
Sometimes rest arrives through small things, slow mornings, cloudy skies, and the quiet permission to let the day be what it is.
It’s there if you’d like to read.
