We are incredibly honoured to receive the Dave Barnes/ MARR Spirit of the Game award!

Thank you to Rugby Manitoba and the Manitoba Association of Rugby Referees (MARR) for recognizing our teams commitment to sportsmanship, respect and the true values of rugby.

This award means so much to us as we continue to build a positive and welcoming rugby community not only in the Parkland but across the province.

We are so proud of how far we’ve come in the last few years, and even more exciting for what’s ahead!

Thank you to our players, our coach, our volunteers and supporters - this award belongs to each and every one of us.

Last week we got to be apart of something special, going against the Eastman Warriors Rugby Club women for their very first game. This weekend, we’re joining forces to take on the Assassins RFC women!

Our Mavericks Women's Rugby took on the Eastman Warriors Rugby Club / Winnipeg Wasps Rugby this weekend and fought hard! With lots of great tackles, fast runs and team spirit we came out on top with a 43-10 win!

This was a special game to play as our last home game this season and as the very first Eastman Warriors Women’s 15s game. We could not be happier to be part of this effort to grow the game in Manitoba!

Kailyn was fearless on the field, making great tackled and scoring a try against the Brandon Barbarians!

Lady of the Match Runner Up - Anika Sakal! Anika played her heart out, went on great runs and had a fantastic attitude all game long!
