North Star Rowing Club North Star is a rowing club located on Lake Banook in Dartmouth and has been offering recreational and competitive rowing for over 80 years.

Current home of Nova Scotia’s on water training center. We’ll see you on the water. For over 70 years North Star Rowing Club has been offering both recreational and competitive rowing for all ages. If you're new to the sport or have experience North Star is a great place to spend your summer. With a tradition of knowledgeable coaching and high quality boats and equipment, North Star is the perfect club for any experience level or age.

⭐️💙Canadian Henley Results 💙⭐️

Last week many of our athletes raced their hearts out at the Royal Canadian Henley Regatta in St. Catherine’s, ON. We had some incredible results, with every member of our women’s team qualifying for finals in at least one event!

Watts were laid down, curses were broken, breakfasts were lost, wheelchairs were used, and so much fun was had ⛽️😎

Congratulations to all our athletes, and a special shout out to those that trained with us this summer but competed under other colours 💙⭐️

Registration is open for our Youth Day Program!💙⭐️ Sessions start next week!

As a gateway into our sport, the Youth Day Program is developed to introduce individuals to the sport of rowing in an environment that promotes fun and fitness. The goal of this program is to discover new passions in a more relaxed learning environment, kickstarting a life long love for our sport. This program is open to youth of all athletic abilities and experience.

Congratulations to for her win today at CSSRAs! Way to go Mel! 💙⭐️

We saw some great racing this weekend from all of the North Star juniors who were racing for their high schools. They pulled hard and had so much fun. Special thanks to coaches Jess, Jenna and Peter for supporting such a big group of athletes.
