Canoe Kayak Canada has officially named its National Teams for the remainder of the 2026 international sprint and paracanoe season! Including the much-anticipated Junior/U23 World Championships and World Cup # 3 in Halifax and Montreal!

These announcements showcase the depth of talent across the country and highlights the strength of Canada's paddling pathway from emerging athletes to the international stage.

Congratulations to all athletes, coaches, clubs, and support teams selected for the 2026 season. We can't wait to cheer you on this summer!

Canoë-kayak Canada a officiellement dévoilé ses équipes nationales pour le reste de la saison 2026 de vitesse et de paracanoë! Ils participeront notamment aux très attendus Championnats du monde juniors/U23 et à la 3e étape de la Coupe du monde à Halifax et Montréal !

Ces annonces témoignent de la richesse du talent à travers le pays et soulignent la solidité du parcours canadien de pagayage, des jeunes athlètes prometteurs jusqu'à la scène internationale.

Canoe’26 is just around the corner!

Lake Banook is one of the premier paddling venues in the world, not only because of its geography, but because of the incredible legacy built along its shores over generations.

Few places in our sport can match what this lake has produced. Lake Banook has been home to generations of Canada’s very best paddlers, helping shape athletes who have competed and succeeded on the world stage (including our very own Michelle Russell)

Hosting this event is incredibly special and presents a unique opportunity for youth and adults in our community to be part of something truly world class.

There are still many ways to get involved as a volunteer, and there is truly a role for everyone regardless of your experience in the sport.
