So many classes. One approach to teaching.

Over the past week, we've introduced some of the classes and programs offered at the Leica Hardy School of Dance.

The ages and levels may be different. The dance styles may be different. But one thing remains constant:

We believe that good dance training is about more than learning steps.
It's about understanding movement.

It's about developing musicality, coordination, strength, discipline, and artistry.

It's about learning how to work through challenges—and discovering the satisfaction that comes from doing something a little better than you did yesterday.

And it's about developing dancers who don't simply do movement, but understand it.

That's the journey we're beginning again on September 8.

It's never too late to dance.

Maybe you danced as a child and miss it.

Our Adult Dance classes welcome dancers who want to experience the joy of movement in a supportive environment.

The Intensive Training & Pre-Professional Training Programs provide focused training for students who are ready for a greater commitment to their development as dancers.

At this level, students are expected to take greater responsibility for their training—to understand their technique, respond to corrections, develop artistry, and approach their work with purpose.

And for dancers considering further study or a professional career, it can be an important part of the journey.

Modern dance gives students another way to explore movement, musicality, space, dynamics, and expression.
