We’re proud to highlight L'Arche Homefires as a charity partner for this year’s Valley Harvest Marathon!

L’Arche believes that a truly human society is one built on welcome, respect and belonging for everyone, regardless of ability. Their Wolfville community brings people together through shared-living homes, independent support living, workplaces and gathering spaces 💛

With 27 Core Members living across 9 homes in Wolfville and the surrounding area, L’Arche Homefires creates opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities to build meaningful relationships, contribute to their community and live with greater independence and connection.

Meet .era.running 👋

This will be Kiki's fourth Valley Harvest race weekend, and it's become a fall tradition she can't imagine missing. This year joining the first ever Valley Harvester team.

From tackling the Ultra Marathon and Half Marathon to cheering on her son Levi in his very first kids' race last year in the Youth Run, some of her favourite running memories have been made right here in the Annapolis Valley. This fall, she'll be taking on the Half Marathon once again.

Passionate about connecting with other runners, Kiki has been visiting run clubs across HRM and is excited to continue sharing the excitement of Valley Harvest with running communities throughout the province. She can't wait to help more people discover the incredible atmosphere, welcoming community, and unforgettable race weekend that keeps bringing her back year after year. 🍂

Meet 👋

Satnam is no stranger to our race community, having been a Blue Nose Marathon Brand'er for the past three years, and this fall he's joining our very first Valley Harvesters team 🍎

Satnam has been running for over 20 years and loves sharing his passion for the sport with others. After experiencing his first Valley Harvest Marathon last year, he fell in love with the beautiful scenery, crisp fall air, and welcoming community. This fall, he'll be taking on the Half Marathon.

Whether he's inspiring co-workers to sign up for their first relay at the Medavie Blue Nose Marathon, encouraging neighbours to lace up their running shoes, or sharing his journey online, Satnam is passionate about helping more people discover the joy of running. He's excited to welcome new runners to the Valley Harvest community and showcase everything that makes race weekend in the Annapolis Valley so special. 🍂

We'll be introducing the rest of our Valley Harvesters team in the next few weeks 🏃
