Evolution Self Defense Krav Maga based Self Defense Training in the Halifax Area since 2014. Classes started September 2nd 2014.

KPC Self Defense Halifax is a self defense training group, an off shoot of the original KPC Self Defense Gym in Edmonton (www.kpcombat.ca) founded by Randy King. We teach reality based self defense, incorporating physical techniques from Krav Maga and the Filipino Martial Arts primarily, as well as the psychological, physiological and legal aspects of violence from Rory Miller, among others. It is

for beginners to experienced martial artists, and for people from all walks of life - from office professionals to law enforcement and military. Our goal is that you leave each training session a little safer every time!

Yep - more snow and apparently maybe rain coming tonight (though nothing like Monday!. Nope, we are not cancelling classes.

We are going to teach the 5 point palm exploding heart technique tonight though and it will never be taught again, just in case you needed fuel for the FOMO.

All kidding aside, don’t take any unnecessary risks getting here. If you can’t make it or don’t feel comfortable driving, we’ll catch you up next class.

CLASSES CANCELLED TONIGHT

Road conditions seem pretty mild right now, but based on the forecast for the evening, starting with the evening commute onwards, I am erring on the side of caution and cancelling classes tonight. Murphy’s law says it will end up being not an issue, but rather than leaving folks wondering or scrambling to adjust plans, I figure it is probably better to be definitive.
