$20 deposit for access card
$30 for one month
$60 for three months
$200 for one year

Seniors (65+) can join free! As always, donations are much appreciated.

NOTICE TO MEMBERS

We have been having issues with people’s belongings being moved in/out of cubbies. We have also noticed that some pairs of shoes have been at the facility for years without having been moved. Now that we have a good number of members, we have no space for shoes that are left behind. We will be clearing out the cubbies on March 15th, 2023. This means that all members will need to claim their shoes by March 15th, 2023. We will keep shoes in a box at the gym until March 31st. All shoes not collected or claimed by March 31st will be donated to Gleaners.

If you live out of town, or are not able to get your shoes, we can hold them for you until you can, please email [email protected] if this is the case. Any member who would like to keep the cubby their shoes are currently in can email [email protected] and pay the fee.

Going forward, we will rent cubbies out to members for a price of $1/month for each month that you purchase a membership. If you do not wish to renew your gym membership, we will re-issue the cubby to another member. There will be a waitlist for cubbies, and each cubby will be numbered.

Hello Members!

As you may have seen, we posted the Facilities manager job a few weeks ago. I am leaving on vacation for a few weeks, and I figured it would be good to get someone trained so we would have a fill in.

So, I am happy to announce that we have hired Amber Mitchell as our new co-manager (her and I will share the position). Amber has extensive experience in the fitness, nutrition and service industries. She is organized, personable and I am so excited to have her join us.

We are HIRING a new FACILITIES MANAGER.

The position is roughly 20-30 hours/month, although can go up to 40hours/month if needed. The pay is $25/hour.

Duties include:

Managing facilities email and responding to all inquiries within reasonable time

Signing up new members, getting waivers signed, cards assigned

Sending emails to electrician when new members are given card, to assign card #’s to each member

Managing supervisor schedule and duties

Tidy, wipe down equipment and wash and fold towels

Fill large water bottles

Manage office spaces, ensure they are tidy and respond to any rental inquiries

The school is closed today and tomorrow due to flooding impacting the septic system. This means the gym will also be closed. I will let you know when it is open again.

Hi Members,

Just a heads up from the school principle:

The school is closing today and tomorrow due to excessive water and some flooding concerns. A crew will be on site tomorrow working on things. No one will have access to the building including the fitness center as we will have no access to washrooms. Could you please inform your members that the gym is closed starting at 3:00pm today and all of tomorrow. We should be able to reopen on Wednesday.

Me again!

I forgot to mention to you guys that the school has set times they use the gym, and as of now, we cannot mix students and members.

These are the times the gym will be CLOSED to members:
Monday+Friday: 1:30pm-2:30pm
Tuesday+Thursday: 8:20am-9:20am
Wednesday: Cleaning from 1:00pm-2:00pm
Also, your card will be reactivated within 48 hours of Tuesday morning if you come either Saturday or Monday. Since Monday is a holiday, the electrician will be in the office Tuesday and Wednesday mornings to re-activate cards. I want to thank you in advance for your patience with this, our electrician is a busy man and this is a tedious job!
