We were very happy to cross paths with our wonderful Cow Bay finish team, onboard their beloved Northern Girl en route to race Southern Straits. Cheering them on as they head into the final mark doing 8.2kn. Looks like it was a great day to race around the Strait. Go Sonia, Jenn, and team!

This was such a fun start to the festive season ❤️🎄⚓️ decorating a tree at Cowichan Bay Maritime Centre sponsored by our favourite sailing regatta Cowichan Bay Sailing Association. The regatta has been held in beautiful Cowichan Bay for over a century, so I thought this was a fun way to show our support for the musuem and highlight a bit of racing history. The tree is decorated with driftwood boats and nautical bunting that features historical photos of Cowichan Bay Regatta, including my favourite Dorothy who won the event about 100years ago and then returned last year to race the familiar waters agan

It was fun to tour the musuem exhibits and walk out the historical pier. We visited favourite shops along the bay, enjoyed great fish burgers at the Pirate place and treats to take home from True Grain Bakery. Thank you to my lovely friend Paula for coming from SaltSpring to join in the decorating, it was a perfect festive start to December.

CORRECTION: Congratulations to Eric Pesty - First Overall in the multihull division. Single-handed at that!

When we presented the awards on Sunday, two of the multihull races had finish times but hadn't yet been adjusted for ratings.

So the final podium finishes were:
1. Geneva - Eric Pesty
2. Mail Order Bride - Wayne Gorrie
3. Redshift - Garry Sagert
