After 15 years of trying to create a place where people could work towards their fitness goals while being in a supportive, fitness family environment, it is with a broken heart that I announce that we are closing our doors.
This was an incredibly difficult and painful decision.
While it allows me to secure a more stable and consistent future for my family, some of the best memories and experiences of my life have occurred because of the gym. First and foremost being able to meet and be a part of so many amazing peoples’ lives. For that, I want to thank from the bottom of my heart all of you who have supported us over the years. Your support means more than I can ever describe in words, and I feel indebted to you.
Thank you for giving me your trust and confidence while guiding you through some challenging and often difficult mental and physical barriers that you were able to overcome. Daily, I was excited to come to work and see what cool accomplishments you were able to achieve. At the end of the day, I would be so excited about it I would drive my family nuts telling them about your accomplishments of the day.
Thank you for your endless hard work and determination over the years. All I could ever do was point the direction you needed to go in. It was entirely up to you to go in that direction and put in the work and you almost always did that. I am proud of you for that.
Thank you for all the incredible discussions and conversations we had at the gym. We discussed and debated on almost everything and I am sure that with only a couple more years we could have collectively solved all the world’s problems! In all honesty I know that I have grown and learned as a person because of these conversations and hopefully you have too.
Thank you for all the love and support over the years during both good times and bad times. From the birth of my child to coping with family members dealing with cancer and family deaths.
Because of all this the gym was never just a business to me. It was never about money. It isn’t just a building with a bunch of equipment in it. It was a living, breathing entity that we all helped nourish and raise together and as a result having to close the gym is like a death in the family.
So once again, thank you for your support in this incredibly difficult time.
I love you all and hope that you have been able to learn something from our time together, as I have most definitely learned and grown a ton because of all of you. I hope that you all continue pursuing improvement in all aspects of your life. Just be that little bit better every day, in the long run it will become something amazing.
I can’t say it enough or mean it enough, Thank you.
