đź’Ą Celebrating 40 Years of Boxing Excellence đź’Ą

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the Comox Valley Boxing Club—a gym that’s been a cornerstone of our community for generations. We’re more than just a boxing club; we’re a family that grows champions both inside and outside the ring.
Our coaching team is the heart of it all:
🥊 With decades of combined experience, they’ve shaped countless boxers.
🥊 Coaches Anthony , Dawson and Myles started their journeys here, learning to throw their first jabs in this very ring. Now, they’re passing on the knowledge and passion they gained right where it all began.
🥊 One of our most beloved coaches Chantal, known for her kindness and warm spirit, is proof that you should never judge a book by its cover—she can deliver punches that pack serious power!
🏋️ I can honestly say that there is no one like our strength and conditioning coach Simão. Dynamic and creative workouts that can never be duplicated and the main reason our fighters never gas.
I am proud to be part of this great team and the 18 years that I've invested into the club is my legacy that I hope that will carry on for decades to come.
As we look back on 40 years, we’re reminded that our strength comes from our people. Thank you to everyone—coaches, athletes, families, and supporters—who’ve been part of our journey. Here’s to many more rounds together!

Two time Heavyweight world title challenger and Canadian boxing legend, George Chuvalo celebrates his 86th birthday today.

Despite not capturing the Heavyweight World Championship during his career, Chuvalo is revered and widely respected, remembered as a man with an unbreakable spirit and willingness to face anybody in an era littered with legends.

Happy Birthday Champ, Many Happy Returns.

I was having banking issues and fixed the problem but many memberships didn't get processed.

Rumors are true
I'll be taking off to Thailand March 15th and back teaching April 17th.( coach Jonny)
The only class this will effect will be kids 5 to 8yrs old which will run until March 13th with a reduced cost of $35 (4 classes)
