Cornwall BMX Club The Cornwall BMX Club in Ontario, Canada is looking for new members to join us in the awesome sport In our sport, no one ever “sits on the bench”.

The Cornwall BMX Club is a registered non-profit association operated by a dedicated group of volunteers who have constructed, operate and maintain one of Ontario’s longest and top ranked BMX Canada sanctioned Bicycle Motocross (BMX) racing tracks. Our goals are to reach out to our community’s youth, young at heart, and our City’s visitors, in order to provide them with a fun and exciting family a

ctivity that will allow for positive and healthy growth through the sport of BMX racing. We also aim to become one of Ontario’s top BMX racing and training facilities, and increasing the City of Cornwall’s reputation as an ideal tourist destination for cycling enthusiasts. BMX racing helps motivate, teaches self-discipline and reinforces the self-esteem of our participants. It's also one of the fastest growing sports in North America and is non-polluting, builds health, coordination, and character. It can be as competitive or non-competitive as you want to make it, and is an inexpensive individual sport that offers many insights to its athletes that can be applied directly to adult life in our competitive society. Our award-winning club organizes 40-45 BMX racing related events per year; including weekly sanctioned BMX Races where athletes compete for awards and Ontario district points, Coaching Clinics where riders learn and practice the physical and mental skills required to compete in racing, and Gate Practices where riders can enjoy all of the features of the track in a fun and non-competitive environment. So put down your phone, tablet, or laptop. Strap on a helmet. Grab your bike and come race with us!

With all of the heavy rain we’ve received, our paving project has been delayed slightly.
As a result, the track will remain CLOSED until further notice.
Please keep a close eye on our page for updates regarding clinics, races, gate practices, and our reopening date.
We understand how disappointing this is for our riders and families. However, this work is necessary for the long-term improvement of our facility and is unfortunately beyond our control.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work towards creating a better track experience for everyone.

🏆 Cornwall BMX Rookie of the Year

The Rookie of the Year award recognizes a young rider who has shown outstanding growth, dedication, sportsmanship, and enthusiasm throughout the BMX season.

Eligibility:
✅ Must be racing BMX at Cornwall BMX
✅ Must be a current BMX Canada member
✅ Must participate regularly throughout the season

Award Criteria:
⭐ Attendance and participation at races
⭐ Improvement in BMX skills and confidence throughout the season
⭐ Positive attitude and willingness to learn
⭐ Good sportsmanship toward fellow riders, volunteers, and officials
⭐ Demonstrates effort, determination, and perseverance
⭐ Supports and encourages other riders

🏆 Cornwall BMX Inspirational Rider Award

The Inspirational Rider Award recognizes a rider who positively impacts the Cornwall BMX community through determination, perseverance, attitude, and encouragement of others.

Eligibility:
✅ Current Cornwall BMX rider
✅ Active participant during the season

Award Criteria:
⭐ Demonstrates perseverance through challenges and setbacks
⭐ Shows a positive attitude on and off the track
⭐ Encourages and supports fellow riders
⭐ Displays excellent sportsmanship and respect for others
⭐ Leads by example through effort, dedication, and commitment
⭐ Inspires others to be their best, regardless of race results

🏆 Cornwall BMX Top Local Rider Award

The Top Local Rider Award recognizes the Cornwall BMX rider who has demonstrated outstanding performance, dedication, and commitment throughout the racing season.

Eligibility:
✅ Current Cornwall BMX rider
✅ Must race regularly throughout the season
✅ Must represent Cornwall BMX in a positive manner

Award Criteria:
⭐ Race performance and results throughout the season
⭐ Consistency in attendance and participation
⭐ Sportsmanship and respect toward fellow riders, volunteers, and officials
⭐ Positive representation of Cornwall BMX both at home and away tracks

Selection Process:

* Riders will be nominated by coaches, volunteers, and board members.
* The Cornwall BMX Board will review nominations and select the recipient.
* Race results alone will not determine the winner.

We can’t wait for this season and to see everyone putting in their best effort and having fun !
