This recognition is a testament to the countless hours, dedication, and passion our coaches invested throughout the season. From developing our players and building a strong team culture to leading with integrity and commitment, this group made a lasting impact both on and off the floor.

While the award may have gone elsewhere, being recognized among the top coaching staffs in the East is an accomplishment our organization is incredibly proud of.

Congratulations to Zack Detoni ( #37) on being named the Ontario Junior C Lacrosse League East Most Sportsmanlike Player!

This award recognizes the player who exemplifies fair play, respect, and leadership—qualities Zack displayed every time he stepped on the floor. His dedication to the game, respect for teammates, opponents, officials, and unwavering sportsmanship made him a tremendous ambassador for the Gloucester Griffins and Junior C lacrosse.

We’re incredibly proud of everything Zack accomplished this season and this recognition is well deserved.

After years away, seeing the Griffins Jr C back on the floor was something special. A new team, a new chapter, and the beginning of so many memories from our comeback season.

From the players and coaches to the volunteers, families and fans who helped bring Junior C lacrosse back to Gloucester — this moment was just the beginning.

One of our first games back… and a season we’ll never forget.

As the final buzzer sounds on the inaugural 2026 Gloucester Griffins Junior C season, we can’t help but look back with an incredible sense of pride.

What started as a vision became a team. A family. A community.

This season wasn’t just about wins and losses—it was about building something from the ground up. Every practice, every game, every laugh in the dressing room, and every battle on the floor helped lay the foundation for the future of Junior C lacrosse in Gloucester.

To our players, thank you for believing in this program and wearing the Griffins crest with pride. You gave this community something to rally behind and created memories that will never be forgotten.

To our coaches and team staff, thank you for the countless hours, dedication, leadership, and passion you poured into this group. Your commitment made this season possible.

To our volunteers, game day staff, scorekeepers, shot clock operators, announcers, photographers, livestream crew, and everyone who worked behind the scenes—thank you. This team simply could not exist without your selfless support.

To our parents and families, thank you for every kilometre driven, every cheer from the stands, and for supporting these young athletes throughout the season.

To our fans and the Gloucester lacrosse community, thank you for filling the stands, following along online, and believing in what we were building. Your energy gave our players an incredible home-floor advantage and reminded us why this game means so much.

A sincere thank you to the Ontario Junior C Lacrosse League, our fellow clubs, officials, and everyone who welcomed the return of Junior C lacrosse to Gloucester. Your support throughout this inaugural season was truly appreciated.

The 2026 season may have come to an end, but this is only the beginning.

The Gloucester Griffins Junior C travel to Mascouche Arena this afternoon to battle the North Shore Kodiaks in Game 3 of the quarter final playoff series.

This is win and you’re in. The winner punches their ticket to the Semi-Finals against the Nepean Knights. The loser sees their season come to an end.

No matter what happens today, we couldn’t be prouder of this group. From the very first day of training camp, these players have represented the Griffins with heart, determination, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to one another. They have overcome adversity, battled until the final whistle, and earned the opportunity to fight for one more game.

Today isn’t about statistics or standings. It’s about believing in each other, emptying the tank, and leaving absolutely everything on the floor.

One team. One family. One game.

To everyone making the trip to Mascouche or cheering from home, thank you for your incredible support all season long. Let’s make our presence felt and rally behind these young men as they fight to keep their playoff journey alive.

🏆 Player of the Game – Spencer 🏆

What a performance between the pipes!

With over 50 saves, Spencer stood tall all game long and was a huge reason the Gloucester Griffins earned the W last night. Time and time again, he came up with clutch stops, kept his team in the game, and gave the Griffins the confidence to push forward.

His composure, determination, and never-quit attitude were on full display, making him a well-deserved Player of the Game.
