Daniel graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland in May 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. After completing his degree in human movement science Daniel acquired the CSCS credential. Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialists (CSCSs) are professionals who apply scientific knowledge to train athletes for the primary goal of improving athletic performance. They conduct sport-
specific testing sessions, design and implement safe and effective strength training and conditioning programs and provide guidance regarding nutrition and injury prevention. Daniel’s work interests include training special populations which require proper exercise prescription. Special populations include those with chronic and temporary health conditions. Some conditions include, but are not limited to musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiovascular, behavioral, metabolic, and older adults.
