Humber Valley Speed Skating Club Information related to the Humber Valley Speed Skating Club If preferred, hockey or figure skates can also be worn in our Learn To Skate program.

If interested in joining and you would like to rent our unique long blade speed skates, please email [email protected], contact us through messenger, or phone 709-640-9644 to make arrangements for a fitting. All are welcome to join at any time throughout the season. Fees will be adjusted. All skaters are required to wear 'mandatory' protective equipment: a helmet, neck guard, elbow pads,

gloves, knee pads, shin guards, and ankle guards. Tight but comfortable clothing is also recommended until Speed Skating Skins are available. Speed Skating skins which have built in shin guards and knees pads allowing more comfort and flexibility can be ordered through the club. New Season November 23, 2021 – April 14, 2022

7:30-8:30 Advanced Skaters
(Identified by Technical Skill & Speed)

Fees 38 Ice Sessions during the Season (FULL SEASON) $600
19 Ice Sessions during the Season (1 per week) $400
