Here’s my Moose update - This is the most discouraging season i’ve ever had… this photo we took yesterday was basically our only encounter with a moose since the season has opened… We grunted this cow into 25 yards as the sunset took over the landscape. I’ve been hunting three day weekends since opening day and as of today I’ve seen an even 10 moose, five of those were on the opener. I’ve always said I’d much prefer to harvest a bull rather than a cow, & that’s true. However ,With covering on average 7-12km by foot & 50-80km by ATV per day, & countless failed calling sessions, I’ve become increasingly frustrated. With an either s*x license, I could’ve easily harvested this cow. I’m on the edge of harvesting a cow because my hopes are so low at seeing a decent bull, or a bull at all for that matter. So I figured I’d ask the question to YOU, my followers. I know it’s my license… but let me know below, would you rather see a bull harvest or a cow in a YouTube video… or does it matter?🫎🫪 thanks for coming to my rant!🤣

Evening black bear… a big healthy female was helping along a staggering SIX cubs across this old logging road, I quickly started with a predator call which drew out 3 of the young curious cubs! The moose seem to have disappeared this year in my area, but there’s always something to see in the Wilderness🐻🔥🎥
