RACE DAY: CHECK IN and timing chip pick up will be from 9:30-10:00am for ALL CATEGORIES and will be located on the far rear parking lot Behind the Town of Massey Drive Town Hall and basketball courts (85 Massey Drive).
RACE START: Race briefing will be short and sweet at 10am, then riders will roll out in a few separate waves.
ROOKIE start at Moonlight Mallet starting at 12:00
PARKING AT START: Please park in the rear gravel lot past the basketball courts.**PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN THE TOWN HALL PARKING LOT**
WASHROOMS: Massey Drive Town Hall will be open to use their washrooms.
Race Cut-Off is 4:30pm at Bishop’s Tavern, Marble Mountain which is located at end of your final stage, Moonlight Mallett. You will return your race chip here upon arrival or receive a DNF.
MERCH: LRE hats, tees and other merchandise will be available for purchase at Marble on Saturday. Cash is preferred (No ATM in area) but Tap will be available.
TCH - The inner lane of the TCH will be closed, however riders MUST STAY ON THE SHOULDER. Vehicles have driven inside our cones in the past despite all of our signs, lights and traffic guards being present.
It is crucial that you follow the rules and laws of the road and to YIELD TO VEHICLE TRAFFIC.
FINISH - When done Moonlight Mallett please roll right into Bishops Tavern and return your race chip.
Again as a reminder, Parking at STARTING LOCATION is plentiful. PLEASE PARK IN THE FAR GRAVEL LOT PAST THE BASKETBALL COURT.
AWARD CEREMONY: Between 5:30 and 6:00pm awards will start at Bishop’s Tavern, Marble.
From 1:00 onward Boomstick Alehouse will hosting a pop-up kitchen outside Bishop’s Tavern, with 100% of food sales going back into future WCCA trail development.
DJ Two Jays will also be keeping us entertained all afternoon and a beer garden will be located outside Bishop’s Tavern serving Boomstick. Tickets can be purchased for both food and drink on deck at Bishop’s.
Following the awards, Bishop’s will be closing and the after-party will continue at Piker’s (located next door to George’s Ski World).
