Another two laps of the CVBU course today.
Overall things are looking good. There downed tree has been removed which is great. The grass is growing quickly on course and am not sure if it will cut before race day. If it rains it makes for wet feets but its kind of refreshing.

Still a toss up for shoes, it was very slippery today. It was pouring during my two laps- I wore road shoes as a test and trail for my last three laps. When its dry I dont feel tail shoes are needed but its totally personal preference. Perhaps a cross shoe?

Ready to see what the West Coast Cycling Association has been building? Come out and help us kick off our very first "Giv’er in the Gulch Team Relay" event! We’re heading into the Lower Humber Valley to break in our newest trails and show why Western Newfoundland is the best place to play outside.

This is a two-person relay event. Teams must coordinate their efforts across two disciplines:
- 1 Mountain Biker
- 1 Trail Runner

Post-Event Social:
Regroup at Piker’s Place for the official after-party, featuring food from WOWO Asian Homestyle Cooking.
