We have been trying to avoid it, but as of September 1st we will be increasing prices. All regular memberships will be increasing $10. Judo and Women's Kickboxing memberships will increase $5.

We understand that a lot of people are struggling these days, and we have been trying to avoid this. This is very much a labour of love for our owners. They make well below minimum wage for every hour that they put into the academy while forgoing many things that would make more money but take away from the community and quality of instruction.

The big push for this comes from the fact that we need new mats. The ones we have are starting to wear quickly, and will cost somewhere between $18,000 & $20,000 to replace. We're trying to find that line between making everything as accessible as possible while still maintaining the quality of both our classes and training environment. Good luck to all of our competitors this weekend! Unfortunately this means that coaches won't be back from the competition in time for Monday's class.

Several of our classes will be on hiatus for the summer. Judo is already on break, women's kickboxing takes a break after today, and youth and teen boxing finish up on Thursday.

Still lots of classes going through the summer though!

Fighting for more than a win.

April is Parkinson’s Awareness Month! Our coaches Trish and Ben teach a boxing class for people living with Parkinson’s Disease every Friday. They will be travelling to Cape Breton in May, where Trish will be fighting in the main event . In honor of this group, they are raising money and awareness for the benefits of exercise, specifically boxing, for this population.

All donations go to the Parkinson’s Society. No amount is too small. Please E-transfer: [email protected] to donate.

There will also be a can on the front counter where you can make a cash donation if you’d rather.
