We are currently looking for Hockey League Manager, who will direct, manage, and coordinate the PAHL (Pacific Adult Hockey League) that plays at Planet Ice Coquitlam.

Schedule: 24 - 40 hours a week. Evenings and weekends.

Day in the Life:

Planning and Logistics

Creating and distributing all PAHL matters pertaining to the league, including information about game times, league policies, and other season logistics.
PAHL marketing to maintain & grow adult leagues
Addressing PAHL concerns throughout the season, including issues related Referee decisions, ice conditions, league organization and team management
Receiving, reviewing, and taking appropriate and timely action with respect to Incident Reports.
Monitoring & collection of PAHL league teams fees
Scheduling of on and off ice officials for PAHL games and hosted tournaments
Monthly payroll preparation for officials
Program budgets
Creating & facilitating new programming
Manager on Duty responsibilities
Performing other duties as assigned or required.
Communication

Maintaining communication with the General Manager, Assistant General Manager, other PAHL League Managers / Coordinators, Facility Operations Manager, and Office Manager.
Coordinating meetings with captains and other League Managers / Coordinators, as required.
Technical

Ability to schedule the season without the use of a scheduling program.
Ability to learn statistics program to monitor scores, standings, penalties, suspensions, etc.
Ice Facility Operators certificate an asset.
Ideal Candidate:
Strong communication skills.
Good analytical skills.
Proficient computer skills and ability to learn new programs quickly.
Impeccable people management and conflict resolution skills.
Work with limited supervision.
Self starter with a “Get it Done” attitude.
