What a fantastic morning at Mundy parkrun! ☀️ A brilliant 76 walkers, joggers and runners joined us this week, bringing great energy to the course.
👋 A warm welcome to our 14 first timers – we hope you loved your first visit and we’ll see you again soon!
🔥 Huge congratulations to the 9 parkrunners who smashed out Personal Bests – amazing effort!
🎽 And it was great to see 2 different clubs represented out on the course.
💛 Of course, none of this would be possible without our incredible volunteers. A big shoutout to this week’s hi-vis heroes:

🏃‍♂️☀️ Mundy parkrun #283 – 13th June 2026 ☀️🏃‍♀️
Another fantastic Saturday morning at Mundy with 89 amazing people running, jogging, and walking their way around the course 🙌
A huge warm welcome to our 22 first-timers!!! 👋 – we hope you enjoyed your first taste of parkrun and will be back for more! And a big cheer for the 5 participants who smashed out new Personal Bests 🎉🔥 – incredible effort!
We were also joined by runners from 2 different clubs, showing that parkrun really does bring everyone together ❤️

Mundy parkrun #280!

71 awesome finishers joined us today, 12 volunteers made it possible:Rob and Evelina, Cathy, Marci, Chris, Kevin, Shrisha, Lara and Kinley , Ioan and Monica 🙌 Thank you all ,it’s because of you that parkrun happens every single week.

Special shoutout to Cathy and Chris for some unexpected course maintenance, cutting back branches that were threatening participants heads 😅🌿

HUGE congratulations to Wayne on his amazing 250 milestone! 🎉 And if anyone ever wonders what parkrun can do to a person: Back in 2019, Wayne’s average time was around an hour, and now he’s out there finishing in about 28 minutes 🤯 parkrun definitely changes lifestyles, one Saturday at a time.

And of course, we’re still missing Debbie and Joe 💛 We’re keeping things going in your absence, but it’s definitely not the same without our main characters around!
