2026/2027 U9 REDS Coaching Announcement!

We are very excited to announce our Copper Cliff REDS U9 coaches for the 2026/2027 season!

Please join us in welcoming Brent Gauvreau and Keith Welsh as the coaches of one of our U9 REDS teams, and Sebastien Bernier as the head coach of our additional U9 REDS team.

We are grateful for their commitment to our young athletes and look forward to another fantastic season of development, teamwork, and fun on the ice.

REGISTRATION INFO 2026–2027 SEASON

The Copper Cliff Minor Hockey Association is thrilled to welcome back returning families and greet new members for another incredible year of hockey excellence.

Updated registration fees and forms are live on our website.(Note: due to an increase in City of Greater Sudbury user fees, you will notice a modest registration fee adjustment this season so we can maintain our high-quality programming).Here is what you need to know for the upcoming season:

SEASON OVERVIEW Dates: Oct 1, 2026 – March 31, 2027
Ice Time: All divisions get a minimum of 2 ice sessions per week.

DIVISION HIGHLIGHTS: U7 Program Saturdays: 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM at McClelland Arena
Sundays: 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM at McClelland Arena
Bonus: NHA supplemental ice and skill training with Certified Trainers included.

U9 ProgramGames: Half-ice games start early November on the full NHA ice surface.
NEW: Positional skill training through NHA included in your fees.

U11 ProgramSchedule: Min. 1 NEHL game/week (starts mid-late Oct) + min. 1 practice/week.
NEW: Positional skill training through NHA included.

U13 / U15 / U16 / U18 Programs Schedule: Average of 1 home game and 1 away game per week.
Bonus: Practice ice included + extra U13 skill development opportunities.

FINANCIAL AID AVAILABLE: THE FRAM FUND No child should be left off the ice. If your family needs financial support, please consider applying to the Jordan Fram Memorial Fund. This community initiative honors Jordan’s memory by reducing financial barriers for local players.Application details are coming very soon.
