🦋📚 In Loving Memory of Dolly Parton 📚🦋
There has never been anyone quite like Dolly Parton- and there never will be again.❤️

Her music and unmistakable personality touched millions, but here in Consort, Alberta and the surrounding area, we are especially grateful for a part of her legacy that has found its way directly into the homes and hands of our littlest residents: Dolly Parton's Imagination Library

What began as Dolly’s dream of giving children books of their very own grew into something extraordinary, helping children in our community discover stories, build their own little libraries and develop a love of reading from their earliest years.📖✨

Today, we want our participating families, and those still thinking about registering, to know something very important:
❤️ The Foundation has reassured its Local Program Partners that Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library will continue.

We are incredibly proud that Consort & Area is a Local Program Partner, and deeply grateful to Dolly and The Dollywood Foundation for bringing this gift of literacy to families in our community.

We have also already begun to see donations made in support of our own local Imagination Library program. To those who have contributed: THANK YOU 💚💛 Your generosity is helping us carry Dolly’s dream forward right here at home, one child and one book at a time.

📬 Please keep registering your little ones! Children can continue to receive a FREE, high-quality, age-appropriate book in the mail every month until their 5th birthday.

The Village of Consort is looking for an individual or business interested in renting and operating the concession at the Consort Sportex for the 2026–2027 hockey season! This is a great opportunity to run your own concession business from an established, fully equipped space while serving our community throughout another busy hockey season.

We have a few specific items we’re looking for, but we are always grateful for donations of school supplies to help ensure every child has what they need for the upcoming school year.
