We’ve made a trade! 🔁

The Breakers are proud to announce the acquisition of defenceman Thomas Hedges from the Harbour Grace CeeBee Stars in exchange for the playing rights of Liam Best.

Thomas is a veteran of the AESHL who also spent several seasons with the Clarenville Caribous, and he brings valuable experience to our back end. With Liam out of province to attend school for the next couple of years, we made this move to build our team now and strengthen our defence for the upcoming season.

We thank Liam for being a great teammate and a true Breaker. He joined us on loan from Harbour Grace for the 2024 Allan Cup before being acquired and playing two seasons with the Breakers. We wish him all the best in his future!

Our Annual General Meeting is coming up at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 22 at the Ken Williams Southern Shore Arena as we get ready for another hockey season.

Come out and learn more about our Junior and Senior Breakers, what’s planned for the upcoming season, and how you can get involved and help us put the best teams possible on the ice.

There’s a lot that goes into running a volunteer organization, both on and off the ice, and we’re always looking for more people to lend a hand. Many volunteers make light work.

Everyone is welcome. We hope to see you there!
