The Comox Valley Glacier Kings wrap up 2025 with 2 home games this weekend and we’d love to have your support! Saturday night we will have our annual TEDDY BEAR TOSS! Please bring a teddy bear in a sealed bag! Puck drop is 6:30 PM.

Sunday we will continue the festivities with UGLY CHRISTMAS SWEATER NIGHT! Puck drop Sunday is at 5:30 PM.

Thanks for all your support as we round out 2025, and we look forward to continuing our season in 2026!

The Comox Valley Glacier Kings have added two key veteran pieces to the fold. Local forward Quinten Harvie, and GKing veteran Sheldon Alexander join us for the second half of the season. Catch these two in action tomorrow night. 6:30 Puck drop, against the Peninsula Panthers.

The Glacier Kings are pleased to announce that we have signed Brandon Taylor, 2006 D/F. Brandon is a veteran of 81 Games in the VIJHL with Nanaimo and Oceanside. The Courtenay resident is excited to be home!

The Glacier Kings have signed 2007 Forward Brody Irvine. Brody comes to the Kings after starting the season with the Woodstock Slammers in the NCDC. The 6’4 forward spent last season with Langley in the JPHL and calls Edmonton, AB home. Welcome to Comox Brody!

The Glacier Kings are at home tomorrow night vs the Saanich Predators. Puck drop is 6:30 PM.

The Glacier Kings are pleased to announce that we have signed 2006 Forward Gavin Munro. Gavin captained the Nanaimo Buccaneers last season and is a veteran of over 80 Games in the VIJHL.

The Comox Valley Glacier Kings are pleased to announce the signing of Goaltender Timothee Fengos.

Fengos, who resides in Joliette, Quebec spent the last 2 seasons with the FEIA Falcons in the CSSHL East U18 Prep circuit. The 2008 born net-minder took home player of the month honour this past January and is excited to bring his talents out west.

The Glacier Kings begin Main Camp next Friday, August 22nd!

The Comox Glacier Kings are pleased to announce the signing of 2008 born Defenceman Kingston Gowans.

Kingston spent last season with the Blyth-Deerview Raiders U18 AAA Prep team in Ontario. Prior to that Gowans played in the AAA circuit in Brandon, Manitoba where he calls home. Gowans is a steady two way Defender that is ready to make the jump to junior hockey.

Meet the Glacier Kings Chaplain Josiah Friesen!
The Glacier Kings are excited to bring Josiah into our program in the role of Team Chaplain and player Mentor. Josiah was a player in the VIJHL from 2012-2015, and went on to play 5 years of college hockey in the ACAC. Josiah lives in Courtenay with his wife Taryn and 9 month old daughter Lucy!
Josiah is a youth pastor at Courtenay Fellowship Baptist Church.

Josiah had this to say about lending a hand to the Glacier Kings. “When I was a player in the VI, I really benefited from the support of our chaplain; someone who I could talk to about life stuff outside of hockey. I’m really excited to have the opportunity to pay it forward in this role and support these young men both on and off the ice.”

The Comox Glacier Kings are pleased to announce the signing of 2008 born Defenceman Elias Haukeness.

Elias spent the last two seasons with the Moose Jaw Warriors in the Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League and calls Buena Vista, SK home. Haukeness will be a solid addition to the Glacier Kings Defence core. We look forward to his arrival in August!

The Comox Glacier Kings are pleased to announce the signing of 2009 Forward Maxim Lefebvre.

Maxim spent the 2024-25 season with the Strathcona Bears U18 Program and was also the only player out of minor hockey to represent Team BC at the National Aboriginal Hockey Championship in Kamloops this past May.
