ISO for a student. Almost teen looking for a lease horse. Ideal horse would be something between 14-15.2 hands high, between 8-18 years old, gelding preferred but open to mares as well. Rider is a confident beginner, has been riding with me for about 4 years, has been leasing a pony for the last two years, but he has now sold. She will be in a regular program, at least one lesson a week. Hoping to start going to some local shows. Hunter/jumper experience is preferred, but as long as horse is capable and interested in jumping we can work with it. Looking for an uncomplicated horse, safe on the ground, and no naughty behaviour under saddle, a buck here or there is fine, but no rearing or bolting. Horse will be boarded at a facility in the Comox Valley with indoor arena and pasture turn out during the day, stalled at night. Horse will be under supervision of me, certified instructor.
