The Second Round Project

Because everyone deserves another chance.

Twin Tiger Boxing Academy is proud to introduce The Second Round Project — a community initiative created to support someone who is fighting for a better future.

We are looking to sponsor one person in our community who is currently battling addiction, coming out of addiction, or working hard to stay sober.

This is not about where you have been.
This is about where you are ready to go.

We want to help someone discover that strength, confidence, and happiness can come from a healthier lifestyle.

Through:

💪 Fitness & strength training
🥗 Nutrition guidance
🧠 Positive routines
❤️ Community support & mentorship

Recovery is a fight.
Staying sober is a fight.
Building a new life is a fight.

And every fighter deserves a second round.

We are looking for someone who is:
✅ Ready to make a commitment to themselves
✅ Working toward staying clean and sober
✅ Open to guidance and support
✅ Willing to show up and put in the work

Join us Saturday, August 29, 2026 at the RecPlex in Wasaga Beach for an action-packed evening featuring 10 exciting boxing bouts and some of the best local athletes stepping into the ring.

🎟 TICKETS GO ON SALE THURSDAY

💰 Cash only upon pickup
❌ Lost or damaged tickets will not be replaced

💜 Thank You, Collingwood

Lupus Run 2026 💜

My heart is so full after seeing our community come together to support Lupus Ontario and everyone living with this invisible illness.

A huge thank you to every single person who came out, walked, ran, donated, bought raffle tickets, donated prizes, shared our event, or simply showed up to support. Every bit of love and encouragement meant more than you know. 💜

A special thank you to all of the amazing local businesses that donated incredible gift cards, baskets, and prizes for our raffle. Your generosity helped make this event extra special and showed just how supportive and caring our community truly is.

Thank you to Mayor Yvonne Hamlin and Collingwood Council for taking the time to come out and support our first Lupus Run. We are so grateful that you were there to stand with our community. A huge thank you as well to Dave from MyCollingwood for coming out to capture photos and videos. We cannot wait to see them and share them with everyone once they are ready!

I also want to give the biggest thank you to Anne from Lupus Ontario for everything she did behind the scenes. Thank you for bringing supplies, helping organize, answering questions, and helping turn this idea into a reality. Your support and dedication made this event possible. 💜

To all of our volunteers — THANK YOU. These events do not happen without people willing to give their time, energy, and hearts to help their community. We appreciate every single one of you who stepped up and helped make the day run smoothly.

Most importantly, thank you to my family, my friends, and this incredible community for believing in this cause and helping make yesterday happen. Living with lupus is incredibly difficult and such a hard journey. It was so meaningful to meet other women yesterday who are also fighting their own lupus battles. Knowing we are not alone makes such a difference.

My hope is that this becomes an annual event — something we can continue every summer to raise awareness, bring people together, and support Lupus Ontario and everyone affected by this disease.

Thank you, Collingwood, for showing so much compassion, kindness, and support. Yesterday was proof of what an amazing community we have. 💜

We've got another great weekend planned, and we'd love to see everyone there!

Friday
Classes are running as scheduled! After sparring, we'll be heading out for our traditional run to the bridge. Everyone who regularly attends sparring knows the route—let's finish the night strong! 💪

Saturday
Open Gym: 5:00 AM – 9:00 AM
Come in, get your workout done, and start your weekend off right.

Sunday Morning

Yoga & Fascia Release with Tonia
8:45 AM – 9:45 AM

This class is donation-based—leave a donation if you're able, but there is absolutely no obligation. Bring your yoga mat, unwind, stretch, and enjoy an hour dedicated to recovery and relaxation.

Lupus Awareness T-Shirts – $30 tax included

$10 for every sale for gloves & mitts will be donated directly to Lupus Ontario, helping fund support, education, advocacy, and research for those living with this invisible illness.

Kids 2nd Vendor Market at Twin Tiger Boxing Academy!

Calling all young entrepreneurs! 🌟

On Sunday August 30th from 10 AM – 2 PM, we are hosting a Kids Vendor Market at Twin Tiger Boxing Academy!

This is a fun opportunity for kids to set up their own table, get creative, practice their confidence, learn customer service skills, and make their own money! 💵

Kids can sell things like:
🍋 Lemonade & drinks
🧁 Baked goodies
🎨 Arts & crafts
🍧 Freezies & treats
🧵 Handmade creations
💡 Any other fun ideas they come up with!

Each child brings their own table , supplies, products, and change for their cash box. You choose whether you want to set up indoors or outdoors.

This is a safe, supportive environment where kids can learn independence, communication, creativity, and the excitement of running their own little business. 🙌
