With so many new faces on our social media pages recently, we thought it would be a good time to re-introduce ourselves and sheMVMNT.

We’re Steph and Jen. Co-Founders of sheMVMNT and we also Co-Owners of CrossFit Indestri, a CrossFit Affiliate in Collingwood, ON. There are a lot of myths that surround CrossFit, and we’re happy to debunk them all, but the end of the day, our passion lies in helping people move their bodies well.

sheMVMNT (pronounced she movement) was founded based on the strength | health | empowerment of women, by women, for women. It’s a MVMNT of women empowering women through physical MVMNT.

While our facility CrossFit Indestri is 100% inclusive, and we truly love and have a great deal of pride in that. There is something truly magical that happens when you bring a group of women together to support, honour and encourage one another through fitness.

sheMVMNT launched in 2020 with a free workout for a group of 50 women to celebrate International Women’s Day. One week later we were in a global pandemic and all our plans for workshops, more workouts, a comp and a retreat were put on hold. Like everyone, we can not wait for some resemblance of normal again, and to be able to resume all those plans.
