We’ve been collecting some amazing community photos!

A huge thank you to Copy Magic Blairmore for generously donating the proceeds from their fashion show to us! Our Amanda also took part in the show. ✨

We also want to thank Kim at FCSS - Municipality of Crowsnest Pass for the donation to SWASS in exchange for our help directing traffic at their fall drive-in movie. It was a blast!

And one more huge thank you to all of the volunteers who come out to help us! SWASS is incredibly grateful, and all your hard work will absolutely be worth it!

It’s so fun to look back over the past few years and see all of the different jobs we’ve volunteered for to help fundraise for our skatepark. We’ve definitely learned a lot of new skills along the way! 😃👏

🔥 HUGE NEWS, CROWSNEST PASS!

We are beyond excited to announce that the Southwest Alberta Skateboard Society has received $475,000 from the Community Facility Enhancement Program (CFEP) Large Grant to help build our brand new skateboard park at Flumerfelt Park in Coleman! 🎉🙌

This is a massive step forward for our community and for riders of all ages and skill levels. This all wheels park will be a space for skateboards, scooters, BMX, and more. What started as a dream is officially becoming a reality, and we truly could not have done this without the incredible support of our community, volunteers, and supporters! Thank you very much to everyone who has believed in this project and helped us get to this point!

The future of skating in Crowsnest Pass is looking bright!

How bout this rad crew?! We attended tonight’s council meeting to share an update on the status of our fundraising efforts for the Crowsnest Pass skatepark. Amanda from SWASS and Everett from New Line Skateparks gave an awesome presentation!

I don’t know who you guys are sharing this with but it’s working! We went a few days and a $50 donation came in (thank you!), and then boom $500, $1000, $3000! (Wow-thank you!)

Good day everyone! It seemed we were losing some momentum and then someone came in clutch with a $1000 dono! Thank you!! This puts us at 33% of our goal! $3300 so far!

The government of Alberta is matching these funds so lets not give up quite yet!

Off to such a good start!
OK We are back up and running. Sorry if you tried to make any donations since 9pm last night. We had an issue with the payment processor but it's all cleared up and good to go! And gives me a reason to post about it again!
