Ready for summer fishing is a 2pc 7'0" Medium Light Fast action spinning rod. Built for a Nephew on St Croix's blank 2C70MLF2 with custom cork grips, Custom wood reel seat with Fuji hardware, Fuji alconite rod guides and tip top, finished in his favourite colours with added feather inlays to add to it's good looks.

Here is a recently finished casting rod built on St Croix's Rod Geeks blank C466HF. A 1pc 6'-6" heavy fast action blank with custom cork grips, Fuji blank thru reel seat, Alps winding check, Fuji Alconite rod guides and tip top finished in corresponding colours of Pro Wrap nylon winding thread with Flex Coat epoxy finish

Completed last week is a handle retrofit to a 4pc SAGE 5wt fly rod. The original custom cork called a "Beaver Tail" grip became uncomfortable when casting and over time, the owner wanted a change to a different grip. He commissioned me to redo the handle and reel seat more to his liking. Now it is finished with a custom reel seat and cork handle assembly that he asked for.

This was a recent complete handle redo from a nice custom handle with reel seat to a custom cork handle with slip rings....

This was a recent complete handle redo from a nice custom handle with reel seat to a custom cork handle with slip rings. The original handle proved too uncomfortable for the owner and not versatile for him to use different float reels, thus offsetting the overall balance of the rod. By changing to a slip ring arrangement, it allows him to change up his reels whenever he chooses.

A return customer asked to have some TLC done to his 3rd rod, which included a complete handle rebuild with custom cork grips, Fuji reel seat and some refinishing to some areas of epoxy to bring a newer look to an older St Croix 1pc 7'-1" MHF spinning rod. Now he's ready for some Walleye fishing on Lake Erie this spring.
