Free Beginner Adult or Youth Tennis Lessons
Dates: Wednesdays, July 15 - August 5
Time: Youth – 10:30 – 11:30, Adults 6:00-7:00 PM
Location: Ivan Krook Memorial Park, 1730 – 6th Street (Cold Lake North)
Cost: Free (with a paid Cold Lake Tennis Membership) https://coldlaketennis.wixsite.com/tennis/general-clean
Please arrive 5 minutes before the scheduled start time. Classes will begin promptly at 6:00 PM. If no participants have arrived within 10 minutes of the scheduled start time, the class will be cancelled.
Before registering for the lessons, please ensure your membership is complete, including:
• A completed membership form
• Membership payment (e-transfer to [email protected]
Once your membership has been processed and paid you will receive a confirmation email at which time you can contact Cold Lake Tennis (coldlaketennis.com or WhatsApp) to express your interest in participating in either the youth or adult beginner lessons. Classes will be limited and registration will be on a first come, first serve basis.
Cancellations, changes and communication will be sent to registered participants via WhatsApp.
Please remember to bring:
• Water
• Court shoes
• Your racquet (loaners are available if needed)
• Recommended hat, sunscreen, and mosquito repellent
• Most importantly an eagerness to learn and play
Lessons will Include Basic:
• Warm-up drills
• Strokes - Forehand, backhand, serving etc.
• Scoring
• Etiquette
