From a scorched frame on a wall to a mirror reflection. ✨🛠️

I picked up this 1984 John Deere Snowfire in Anoka, Minnesota, back in January 2024 while heading to the Midwest Ride-In. It had sat neglected for years following a severe engine fire that melted most of the plastic engine bay components and completely blackened the aluminum tunnel.

Knowing that 1984 was John Deere's final year in production and that only 276 of these Snowfires were ever made, I couldn't let it go to the scrap heap. I had to save it.
After stripping it down to a bare frame two years ago, it spent a long time hanging as wall art while I figured out the next steps. Now, it's finally moving forward. I just got the tunnel back from being professionally polished, and the transformation speaks for itself.

There is still a ton of work ahead to get this thing completely restored, but it feels good to finally be moving forward with it. 🛠️💪

Practice makes perfect at the Red Eagle Racing shop! 🦅🛠️
We just brought in our newest tool, the Cyclecyl Boremaster. Before we start using it on our own race engines, we are logging plenty of hours on practice cylinders to get the precision dialed in perfectly. 🏁🔥

Appreciate you guys hitting the follow button.This is what's currently keeping us busy in the shop. We’ve got the mod stock 440 race sled torn down right now for a full motor rebuild, new crank, and a fresh set of bearings all throughout. It’s a lot of work on the bench, but it’s the best part of the off-season. 🛠️

🏆 Championship Double & Driver of the Year! 🦅🏆

Had a great night last night at the OSOR 2026 year-end banquet! Red Eagle Racing is bringing home some hardware, and we are incredibly grateful for how this season wrapped up.

We are honored and humbled to bring home:
🥇 Super Stock Fan 440 Season Championship
🥇 Mod Stock 440 Season Championship
🏆 OSOR Overall Driver of the Year!

As many of you know, our season took an unexpected turn when our Mod Stock motor let go mid-season. Instead of packing it in, we decided to stage our Super Stock Fan sled in the Mod Stock class just to stay out there and keep picking up points.

Lining up a Fan-cooled sled against a grid of modified machines definitely put us at a horsepower disadvantage. We just focused on smooth lines and consistent finishes, and somehow, things fell our way. Pushing that little sled to a few more podiums and wins to secure both titles was a wild ride, but we made it happen.

Receiving the Overall Driver of the Year award was a huge surprise and a true privilege. This award really belongs to my family, and the awesome friends and fellow racers in the pits who are always there to lend a hand when things go wrong.

Humbled and proud to share some big news from the Red Eagle Racing shop. 🏁🏆

It’s been a season of high highs and some pretty tough lows, but we managed to officially secure the Season Points Championship in both Super Stock 440 Fan and Mod Stock 440.

To be honest, we weren't sure we’d get here. Mid-season, the Mod Stock suffered a catastrophic engine failure that sidelined it for the rest of the year. It was a tough pill to swallow, but we kept our heads down and focused on the Super Stock 440 Fan. Thanks to some consistent finishes and a lot of hard work, that sled earned enough points to carry us through to the end.

We’re incredibly grateful for the competitors who push us, the fans who show up in the cold, and the partners who keep us on the ice. We truly couldn't do this without the support of:
