This season our club sent 7 top teams to the Calgary & Area Managers City Championships. 4 of these teams landed a spot on the finals in this single knockout format and Team Strain took home the 2026 Open City Championship! Congratulations to all the teams. This was our best showcase at cities in a very long time.

Continued good luck to Cochrane’s Zoe Cinnamon and partner Johnson Tao as they are competing at Mixed Doubles Nationals in Surrey BC as Team Alberta! Shout out to our own Larry Cinnamon who is coaching the duo this week. Sitting 4-1 so far in competition!! Hurry hard!!!

Team Alberta's Zoe Cinnamon and Johnson Tao took down Team Homan/Bottcher 8-5 to improve their record to 4-1 at the Canadian Mixed Doubles Curling Championship.

This win puts Cinnamon and Tao in a strong position to claim the top spot in Pool A! 🥌

With participant ages ranging from 16-90, the mixed bonspiel was once again one of our most successful bonspiels of the season.

Both A and B events were dominated by our club members and we’re very proud of the talent in this club.
