Not a bad view of the comet in Cobourg tonight.

Spent the day visiting places remembering a time of conflict when people from different cultures were divided and torn apart, and individuals paid the ultimate sacrifice.
Spent tonight at a place where the fruits of those sacrifices were on full display as people from many different cultures, ate, drank, and interacted together in harmony. Place des heros is very well named as is our son who has the middle name of Arras.
Thank you to Arras and place des heros for showing us tonight that their sacrifice was not in vain and is something we always need to remember and learn from. 🇨🇦

Sportsmanship and respect!
What could we all learn from these young PTBO men, from todays grade 8 track meet.
After competing against each other all day, at the end of the 100m final in the City track and field championships, they all held hands to congratulate each other.
Different schools, different ethnicities - but one common theme - no barriers with incredible sportsmanship and respect!
Amazing group of young men! PTBO proud!
