Here are 10 tips to help you manage and possibly avoid weight gain during the Christmas season:

1. Moderation in Indulgence: Enjoy your favorite treats but in moderation. Controlling portion sizes can make a significant difference.

2. Balanced Meals: Prioritize balanced meals with plenty of vegetables, lean proteins, and healthy fats to help curb excessive snacking.

3. Stay Hydrated: Drink water frequently. Sometimes our bodies mistake thirst for hunger, leading to unnecessary eating.

4. Mindful Eating: Pay attention to what and how much you're eating. Savor each bite, and take your time during meals to allow your brain to register fullness.

5. Plan Ahead: If you know you'll be indulging in a big meal or treats, balance it out by eating lighter or healthier meals throughout the day.

6. Stay Active: Incorporate physical activity into your routine. Whether it's a walk, a workout, or other activities, staying active can help burn off extra calories.

7. Limit Alcohol Consumption: Alcoholic beverages can be high in calories. Moderation is key, as they can also lower inhibitions leading to overeating.

8. Get Enough Sleep: Proper rest helps regulate hormones that control appetite. Aim for consistent and adequate sleep during the holiday season.

9. Choose Wisely: When faced with various food options, opt for healthier choices where possible. For example, go for roasted vegetables instead of creamy, high-calorie sides.

10. Be Kind to Yourself: Remember, it's okay to indulge occasionally during the holidays. Don't be too hard on yourself; focus on enjoying time with loved ones.

By incorporating these tips, you can better manage your food intake and maintain a healthier balance during the festive season.

💡 You Don’t Have to Live in Pain
If you’re struggling with Frozen Shoulder (or know someone who is), you’ve likely felt the frustration of limited movement, persistent pain, and the toll it takes on your everyday life. But here’s the truth: you don’t have to accept this as your new normal.

Through advanced techniques like Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST) and Rapid NeuroFascial Reset (NFR) we can address the root causes of frozen shoulder and work towards restoring your range of motion, reducing pain, and reclaiming your freedom to move.

✨ Why these methods work:✅ FST focuses on releasing restrictions in your fascia and improving overall joint health, leaving you feeling lighter and more mobile.
✅ RNR helps reset the nervous system, calming pain signals and improving the function of the muscles and tissues.

I’ve seen incredible results with these techniques—not just temporary relief, but real progress toward lasting mobility and comfort.

✨ You don’t have to live with the pain. Let’s work together to get you moving freely again!

Freedom is closer than you think!

Top 10 Nutrition Tips for a Healthier Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is a time to celebrate, but it doesn’t have to be a complete food fest. With a few mindful choices, you can enjoy your meal without feeling stuffed or sacrificing your health goals.

Here are my top 10 nutrition tips for a balanced, happy holiday:

1. Start with Breakfast – Don't skip meals before the feast. A healthy breakfast can prevent overeating later.

2. Hydrate First – Drink plenty of water throughout the day to stay hydrated and curb overeating.

3. Mindful Portions – Fill half your plate with veggies and the rest with protein and healthy carbs. This keeps balance while enjoying favorites.

4. Slow Down – Savor each bite and listen to your body's hunger cues. You'll enjoy the meal more without going overboard.

5. Choose Lean Proteins – Opt for white turkey meat or a plant-based alternative if you're vegetarian. These are lower in fat but still satisfying.

6. Limit Sugary Drinks – Avoid excess calories from sugary beverages. Stick with water, sparkling water, or herbal teas.

7. Go Light on Gravy and Sauces – Use gravy and creamy sauces sparingly; they're calorie-dense and can add up quickly.

8. Healthy Sides Matter – Offer a variety of roasted veggies, sweet potatoes, and salads to balance out heavier dishes.

9. Pick Your Desserts Wisely – Instead of sampling every dessert, choose your favorite and enjoy it mindfully.

10. Get Moving – Take a walk after the meal to help digestion and keep energy levels up.

Client Spotlight - Dilys Robertson

I'm feeling so incredibly proud and grateful today! 🙌✨ I just wanted to take a moment to recognize one of my most dedicated clients, who has been training with me since 2003. Yes, that’s over two decades of commitment, hard work, and growth! 💪🔥Dilys Robertson

Client retention means the world to me because it’s more than just showing up for workouts—it’s about building trust, consistency, and mutual dedication.

I’ve watched Dilys push through challenges, celebrate personal victories, and evolve both mentally and physically. It’s been a privilege to be a part of her fitness journey for so long.

I truly believe the key to long-lasting client relationships is listening, adapting, and always supporting each other.

To everyone who continues to put their trust in me year after year, THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. 🙏 You inspire me every day to be the best coach I can be.

Here’s to many more years of crushing goals together! 🏋️‍♀️🥇

Anyone feeling a little tight or jammed up and looking for some recovery?

What’s FST ?

FST is distinct from traditional stretching because it decompresses, lengthens, and creates space in the fascia, thereby positively affecting all systems of the body, not just muscles.
