Sunday was a great day for a breakfast & we couldn't be more thankful for everyone who came out & supported us by buying breakfast or volunteering. We couldn't have had the amazing breakfast we did without all of your support!! We hope you enjoyed eating it as much as we enjoyed serving it! 😊

Sunday was a very special day at the curling club, we celebrated our 65th anniversary! 🎉🎉
We invited all of ours past men's & ladies presidents, & board directors to help us celebrate the milestone. We were joined by Fay Cobden of the Past by Faysgenealogy who talked about the history of the club while our current board directors talked about the club today.
As part of our celebration, we also got to celebrate two very amazing people who have given back to our club more than most. For their decades of volunteering at the curling club, through the creation & continuation of our Little Rock & Junior programs, ice making, cooking, maintenance, event organizing & many other things that most people never realized, Ken & Helen Francis were both awarded lifetime memberships to the curling club! We could not think of two people more deserving to be the first ever awarded this accolade.
Thank you for everything you have done & continue to do for our curling club Ken & Helen! Your contributions have helped make our club what it is today & we are better for it!! 🥌♥️

This past weekend we celebrated the end of our curling season with our closing bonspiel! It was a great time with great people & great food. Thank you to everyone who made it out to curl this weekend & joined us for supper Saturday night!! Congratulations to the winners! We hope everyone had a fun time! 😄🥌🎉

Our curling season is coming to an end this weekend with our closing bonspiel, but we got to close out the year by crowning our final league winners!!

This past weekend we welcomed our friends from the Eganville Curling Club to Cobden for our annual Kumm friendly bonspiel. It was great to see lots of familiar faces & some new ones! It was a fun day full of some amazing shots & a lot of laughs that that ended with Cobden being crowned the winner!! 😄🏆🎉
Thank you to all of our friends in Eganville for joining us we can't wait until next year!
