🚗 Reminder: Please slow down at The Quads

The Town of Coaldale is reminding all users of The Quads Recreational Area that the posted speed limit throughout the facility is 20 km/h maximum.

New 20 km/h speed signs have been installed at the facility entrance to help remind drivers to slow down and watch for pedestrians. The Quads is a busy area with many vehicles, families, and children, and we ask all users to use extra caution when driving, parking, and backing up.

Please also remember to:

✅ Park in designated areas only
✅ Watch carefully for children and pedestrians
✅ Use caution when backing up or leaving parking areas
✅ Come to a full stop at the new 3-way stop at 30th Avenue / 13th Street / Quads entrance

Community Peace Officers and the RCMP will be patrolling the area for visibility and enforcement.

⚾🤠 LET'S GO BANDITS! 🤠⚾

The season may be winding down, but the fun isn't over yet!

This Saturday, June 6th, our Coaldale Bandits T-Ball teams are heading to Milk River for their Year-End Wrap Up, and we'd love to see the stands packed with Bandit pride!

Bring your family, friends, grandparents, aunts, uncles, neighbours, and anyone who loves cheering on our amazing young athletes. These players have worked hard all season, learned new skills, made great friendships, and created memories that will last a lifetime.

👏 Come celebrate their accomplishments.
⚾ Cheer on every hit, catch, and run.
🤠 Show our Bandits what community support looks like!

Let's fill the diamonds with loud cheers, high fives, and Bandit spirit as we wrap up another fantastic T-Ball season!

🎉 THANK YOU, COALDALE! 🎉

We are incredibly grateful for the amazing support shown by the Town of Coaldale and our surrounding community during this year's Bottle Drive Fundraiser.

Because of your generosity, we raised an incredible $7,044.80 — our highest total ever! 🍾⚾🥎

Every bottle donated, every bag dropped off, and every volunteer who gave their time helped make this achievement possible. Your support goes far beyond a fundraiser. It helps provide opportunities for our athletes, supports equipment and facility needs, and allows our Bandits and Renegades programs to continue offering a positive, affordable, and memorable experience for local youth.

Community support is the foundation of grassroots sports. Without the generosity of families, businesses, and residents like you, organizations such as ours simply wouldn't be able to operate and grow the way we do.

Families across the United States and Canada are placing baseball bats outside their homes in honor of young Xavier Taylor — a devoted fan of the Atlanta Braves.

Xavier, a 12-year-old baseball player from New Jersey, was critically injured after being struck by a baseball during warmups. As he continues to fight, we ask that you keep him and his loved ones in your thoughts and prayers.

Lets show our support that Baseball is more than a game, it’s a family, and place your bats on your door step. 💙⚾

🌧️⚾ Rain, Rain... Come Again Another Day! 🥎🌧️

UPDATE: TOWN AS CLOSED THE QUADS ALL WEEK

While we're thankful for the much-needed rain and moisture that helps our local farmers grow another great crop season, it also comes with a few disappointed faces around the ball diamonds today.

Unfortunately, the weather has forced us to cancel baseball and softball activities. As much as we love seeing the fields get the water they need, we'd much rather be watching our players out there making memories, turning double plays, and chasing fly balls.

To all our Bandits and Renegades players: keep those gloves ready and those bats swinging — the diamonds will dry out soon enough, and we'll be back at it before you know it!

💙💛 Here's to greener fields, stronger crops, and getting back to the game we love.
