𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗗 𝟴 | 𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗘 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗔𝗣 — 𝗦𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗟𝗕𝗢𝗬 𝟭𝟮–𝟭𝟳 🏁

Sometimes the best story isn't how you start.

It's what happens next.

The opening two rounds of the Schoolboy season didn't put Hudson Johnson #828 at the top of the results.

Since then?

Six straight wins. 🔥

Hudson kept that run alive at Round 8, taking P1 overall at Clyde River after another strong day in the Schoolboy class.

Behind him, .drummond_ #67 continued his own impressive Round 8 with P2, while Ezra Sheridan #111 put himself on the podium with P3.

And this was not a track where consistency came easily.

By Sunday the Clyde River sand had transformed.

Lines disappeared.

New ones developed.

Braking bumps grew.

And the riders who could read the track lap after lap were the ones who kept moving forward.

Hudson's six-race run is impressive.

But so is the depth behind him.

Gavin, Ezra and the rest of this Schoolboy Top 10 kept the class moving all day, and the speed coming through this age group continues to be something worth watching.

Round 8 wasn't about perfect conditions.

It was about adapting when the track fought back.

𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗗 𝟴 | 𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗘 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗔𝗣 — 𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗜 🔥

If there was a class where the Clyde River sand was going to expose every little mistake...

Supermini was one of them.

And at Round 8, Peyton Horsman #65 stepped up and took the overall win. 🏁

Peyton finished the day P1, ahead of Charlie Nickerson #707 in P2 and Will Landry #7 in P3, Hudson Mcleod with #95 right behind them in P4.

That's a strong front group.

And Peyton didn't only have Supermini to deal with.

He also lined up in 85cc 12–16 during the weekend, finishing P4 there before putting himself on top of the Supermini results.

Two classes.

A rough sand track.

Plenty of laps.

And a Supermini overall win to take home from Clyde River. 👊

As the day went on, this class became another example of what makes racing here different.

You couldn't rely on what worked three laps earlier.

The track kept developing and the riders had to keep finding answers.

Sometimes that meant changing lines.

Sometimes it meant staying committed through the rough stuff.

And sometimes it meant simply hanging on and refusing to give up the position.

Peyton found the answers when it mattered.

𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗗 𝟴 | 𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗘 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗔𝗣 — 𝟱𝟬𝗖𝗖 𝟳–𝟴 🔥

8 ROUNDS. 8 WINS.

At some point, consistency becomes something more.

Austin Fader #64 made it eight straight overall wins in the 50cc 7–8 class with another P1 performance at Clyde River. 🏁

And doing it on this track made Round 8 another serious test.

The ruts get deeper.

The bumps get bigger.

And when you’re on a 50cc, sections that look manageable from the sidelines can feel completely different from behind the bars.

That’s what makes watching these young riders attack Clyde River so impressive.

Austin has continued answering the challenge everywhere the series has gone this season — and Round 8 was no different.

But this post isn't only about the rider at the top.

Look through that Top 10.

These are some of the youngest racers in Atlantic motocross, learning how to handle starts, changing conditions, pressure, mistakes, passing and increasingly difficult tracks every weekend.

That's where the next generation starts.

And judging by what we saw at Clyde River...

the future looks pretty fast. 👊

𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗗 𝟴 | 𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗘 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗔𝗣 — 𝟲𝟱𝗖𝗖 𝟭𝟬–𝟭𝟭 🏁

CLYDE RIVER SHOOK UP THE FRONT. 👀

The 65cc 10–11 class gave us one of the more interesting Top 4s of Round 8.

#88 rose to the occasion in the sand and took P1 overall.

Behind him, Sheridan #100 delivered a big ride for P2 ,while Logan LeBlanc #911 secured the final podium position in P3.

And right behind them?

Lucas Perry #78 in P4.

Lucas has been one of the riders regularly found near the front of this class throughout the season, which made seeing Mason, Rowan and Logan occupy the podium at Clyde River even more interesting.

That's motocross.

Different track.

Different conditions.

Different challenge.

And sometimes a completely different order when the checkered flag comes out.

For these young riders, Clyde River demanded patience as much as speed.

The deeper the sand became, the more important it was to keep momentum, pick good lines and stay composed when the bike started moving underneath you.

Mason handled the challenge and came away with the Round 8 win.

But take a look through the entire Top 10 — there were plenty of young riders earning every position they got on Sunday.

𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗗 𝟴 | 𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗘 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗔𝗣 — 𝗣𝗥𝗢 𝗚𝗣 🔥

The fastest class of the weekend delivered again.

And when the dust — or in this case, the sand — settled...

Jordan Melanson #315 was back on top at Clyde River. 🏁

Jordan took the Pro GP overall win at Round 8, with Marcus Dureen #910 finishing P2 and Logan Gallant #196 putting together a strong performance for P3.

For Jordan, there’s an interesting full-circle story here.

He won the Pro GP overall when the 2026 Atlantic season opened right here at Clyde River in May.

Then, four months later, he returned for Round 8...

and won again.

Two visits to the Clyde River starting gate this season.

Two Pro GP overall wins.

But there was nothing easy about this one.

By race day, the track had developed into exactly what a Clyde River sand track should become — rough, deep, technical and constantly changing.

The faster these guys went, the more the track demanded from them.

Behind Jordan and Marcus, Logan earned his place on the podium while the rest of the Pro GP field battled through one of the roughest tracks of the weekend.

This is the level of riding everyone comes to the fence to watch.

Speed. Commitment. Bike control. And absolutely no room to switch off.

𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗗 𝟴 | 𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗘 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗔𝗣 — 𝗚𝗜𝗥𝗟𝗦 𝟵–𝟭𝟲 🏁

Seven rounds.

Seven wins for Brynn Silver.

Then came Clyde River. 👀

Paige Silver #113 stepped up when the gate dropped at Round 8 and put together the ride she needed to take P1 overall in the Girls 9–16 class, ending an incredible run at the top by her sister Brynn.

And if anyone was going to make Brynn work for it, it seems fitting that it was Paige. 🔥

Brynn Silver #235 fought through the Clyde River sand to finish P2, while Ellie Sheridan #360 continued putting together a strong season of her own with P3.

What made this one fun to watch was that the track never stopped changing.

As the sand got rougher, the lines got deeper and every mistake became more expensive.

That’s when racing at Clyde becomes less about finding one perfect line — and more about constantly adapting.

Paige did exactly that.

One of the strongest streaks of the season finally came to an end in the sand.

But looking at the riders at the front of this class, there’s clearly plenty more racing ahead for these girls. 👊

We would like to send a sincere thank you to everyone who came out and supported Round 8 at Clyde River Motocross.

We appreciate you.

We realize that for the majority of riders and families, Clyde River is one of the longest distances you'll travel during the season.

That isn't lost on us.

Just getting to the races 𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆, 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 is a feat in itself. The travel, fuel, preparation, time away from home and everything else that goes into a race weekend takes an incredible amount of commitment.

The fact that so many of you made that commitment and travelled from across Atlantic Canada to spend the weekend with us means more than we can say.

And what a weekend it was.

The track got rough.
The sand did what Clyde River sand does.
The racing was incredible.

But when we look back on Round 8, what we'll remember most isn't necessarily what happened on the track.

It's the people.

The events of Sunday morning reminded our family once again just how special the motocross community really is.

To everyone who surrounded our family and team during a very difficult moment those who stepped in to help, checked on us, offered support, and showed genuine care and compassion our family will be forever grateful.

This community is a 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲.

Big hearts. Grit. Determination. And a willingness to step up for one another when it matters most.
