Meet Sam!!🇨🇦

Originally from Calgary, Sam has been in BC for the last 5 years! New to the IWE crew this year but he is not a stranger to the Clearwater River or to guiding!
Before landing in Clearwater, Sam spent time guiding on the Slocan River in the Kootenays and the Kananaskis River in Alberta!
Sam graduated from the Adventure Studies Program at TRU along side some of our other guides! When he’s not on the river, you’ll probably find him deep in a book or out kayaking for fun!
Sam is always ready with great jokes, big smiles or a five-syllable word you may or may not know the meaning of!
If Sam’s your guide be ready for big splashes, lots of laughs, and maybe even a vocabulary upgrade!

Meet Kenneth!! 🇨🇦

Kenneth is our Clearwater Local, growing up in Clearwater he spent lots of time outside exploring! From kayaking to guiding to owning IWE he has done it all on the Clearwater River!
With 15 years of guiding at IWE Ken took over the business and this is now his 3rd year owning the company!
Although busy year round with IWE, after the summer he still makes time to get out and kayak all over the world! You can always count on Ken for any tips and tricks, a good story and a better laugh!

Meet Noah!! 🇨🇦

You might recognize Noah as this is his 4th season guiding at IWE!
Born and raised in Kamloops BC Noah grew up and learnt how to Kayak on our very own Clearwater River and he continues to love it!
When summers over Noah spends his time doing some hunting guiding along side his family and is always travelling and kayaking somewhere in the world!
You can always count on Noah to bring solid river skills, lots of jokes, and a good time on every trip!
We are excited for your fourth season Noah! 🌲🌊😎

Meet Shawn!! 🇨🇦

Another new face around Clearwater this summer! Although not far from home, Shawn is Originally from Quesnel BC!
Shawn ventured off to Vancouver for school where he did everything from skiing to mountaineering and finally decided to give rafting a try! Although it’s Shawns first year guiding he has quickly become a fan favourite around here!!
If you have Shawn has a guide you’ll see he’s always ready with a quick joke, fun fact, or a good story to keep the conversation flowing!

Meet Eli!! 🇳🇿

Originally from New Zealand this is Eli’s first summer here at IWE and he’s loving it!!
Fun fact - Eli and fellow kiwi guide Emma went to school together in New Zealand which makes for some great energy on the river!
When Eli’s not guiding you can find him out on the river with the rest of the guides kayaking, or dominating in any lawn game from corn hole to spike ball.
Eli always brings the biggest smile and best energy to every trip and we love it! ☀️🌊😁

Meet Emma!! 🇳🇿

Emma (also known as Eeeemma) is back for her second summer at IWE and we couldn’t be more excited to have her back!
Emma’s originally from New Zealand and has been chasing summers between Clearwater and back home while she enjoys (not really) living in a tent or out of a van! She spends her southern hemisphere summers guiding on the Shotover River and her northern hemisphere summers here at IWE!
Emma brings steady vibes, lots of skill, and an infectious laugh to every trip. If you’re lucky enough to have Emma as a guide you’re sure to have a good time! Stoked to have you Eeeemma!!💦🌊😆
