What a weekend for our U13-2 Gaels at the Stayner Spring Showdown!

After battling through a strong field of teams, the Gaels punched their ticket to the championship game and finished the tournament as 2026 Finalists. Their hard work, determination, and team-first attitude were on full display all weekend long.

Congratulations to all of the players, coaches, and families on an outstanding tournament performance. The future is bright for this team!

Get ready to show off your Gaels pride! Our 2026 House League Photo Nights are coming up, and we can’t wait to capture some great memories from the season.

📍 Newcastle – Monday, June 8
• U9 – 5:00 PM
• U11/U13 – 8:30 PM

📍 Orono – Monday, June 15
• SoftLax – 4:30 PM
• U7 – 5:00 PM

Bring your stick and gloves! No helmets for pictures.

Players should arrive a few minutes early and be ready with their biggest smiles. We look forward to seeing all of our House League athletes represented in this year’s photos!

What a weekend for our U11-2 Clarington Gaels at the Anthony Acchione Memorial Classic Tournament!

These Gaels battled hard, played with heart, and represented Clarington with pride from the opening faceoff to the championship game. Their determination, teamwork, and sportsmanship were on full display all weekend long as they earned an impressive Silver Medal finish.

Congratulations to all of our players, coaches, and families on a fantastic tournament. The future is bright for this group, and we couldn’t be prouder of the effort, growth, and resilience they showed every step of the way.

U7 Game Day is here!

This weekend marks the first-ever U7 Game Day event, bringing together young players, coaches, officials, and families from across Ontario to celebrate the launch of the lacrosse season in a fun, educational, and positive environment in Whitby and Lincoln.

We are incredibly proud to have not one, but TWO Clarington Gaels teams representing our association this weekend in Whitby!

For many of these players, this will be their very first experience competing in a tournament format, an exciting milestone and the beginning of their lacrosse journey! The event is designed to teach the game the right way at the introductory level, focusing on development, teamwork, sportsmanship, learning, and fun!

Good luck to both teams as they hit the floor this weekend! We cannot wait to see the smiles, energy, and excitement from all of our young athletes!
