It’s National Volunteer Week! The Clarenville Area Soccer Association proudly celebrates all of our amazing volunteers. This year’s theme, ignite volunteerism, celebrates the power of giving back and building stronger communities.

To our dedicated board members—thank you for your leadership, time, and unwavering commitment. From the countless hours spent behind the scenes to stepping in on the field during the season, your efforts make everything we do possible.

To the parents, families and community members who generously give their time—whether serving as division directors, helping with jersey day, or supporting year-end celebrations and tournaments—your contributions truly make a difference, and they do not go unnoticed.

And to our volunteer coaches—your passion, patience, and mentorship go far beyond the game. Thank you for providing our soccer players with an opportunity to experience the joy of competitive team sport.

Our association simply wouldn’t exist without each and every one of you. Thank you for giving your time, sharing your talents, and helping build something special for our community.

⚽📣 🌞 Anyone interested in trying out for the NL summer games take a look at this post from NLSA!

2026 NL Summer Games trial registration is now open! Trial dates and locations will be announced after registration closes, with sessions taking place between May 15 and June 15.

❗❗📣📣 We've made the decision to postpone tonight's AGM due to lack of interest!!!

❗We need to fill critical positions on the Board prior to the season starting, and we are worried about hosting the AGM without sufficient interest.

🗓️ We will reschedule for the coming weeks (after hockey provincials) when we will hopefully get the interest needed to have a successful season.

✅ Our program requires dedicated voulenteers and community support to successfully plan/execute each season!

U13 Girls End of Summer CLASH shout outs!

A huge shout-out to our amazing supporters who helped make this weekend possible:

💜 Booster Juice – for donating our Player of the Game awards
💜 Random Distributors – for generous canteen donations
💜 North Atlantic – for the cool swag for all our teams

Big thanks as well to the Town of Clarenville for providing the facility and helping get the field game-ready.

👏 Special appreciation to Earle Pike for marshaling and refereeing, and to our refs Chloe and Sam for keeping the games running smoothly.

And of course, thank you to all the parents who stepped up—from canteen shifts to marshalling to assistant refereeing. Your support makes events like this possible.

Finally, a huge thank you to our dedicated coaches John, Nicki, and Jennifer for guiding and supporting our players every step of the way! 💪⚽️

It’s been a busy and exciting finish to the season for some of our competitive teams!

Our U13 Boys wrapped up their Metro League season with a silver medal in Tier 1, a fantastic achievement to cap off their hard work this year.

At the Fall Frenzy in Gander during the first weekend of September, our U7 Girls, U11 Girls, and U11 Boys represented our club with pride.

The U7 Girls had a blast in their first-ever tournament, showing incredible growth throughout the day.

The U11 Girls battled through some intense matches and brought home the bronze medal, while the U11 Boys fought hard in their own bronze medal match.

This past weekend, we proudly hosted a U13 Girls tournament, welcoming five teams from across the province. It was a fantastic weekend of soccer, teamwork, and community spirit. Our U13 Girls faced Southern Shore United in the bronze medal match, coming up just short and finishing 4th overall, but with plenty to be proud of.
