The cost of registration and equipment shouldn’t be a barrier to participating in sport and recreation. We want families in our community to know about two programs that may be able to help! 💙

Canadian Tire Jumpstart – Individual Child Grant
Jumpstart provides financial assistance to help children from families facing financial barriers participate in sport and recreation activities. Eligible families can receive up to $300 per child, per year toward eligible registration and equipment costs.

🔗 Apply for Jumpstart: https://jumpstart.canadiantire.ca/pages/individual-child-grants

KidSport - Individual Child Grant
KidSport helps remove financial barriers so more kids can experience the benefits of organized sport. Eligible children can receive up to $400 per year toward sport registration and equipment fees.

🔗 Apply for KidSport: https://kidsportcanada.ca/newfoundland-and-labrador/provincial-fund/

Every child deserves the opportunity to play, participate, build confidence, make friends, and feel like they belong. If registration or equipment costs are making it difficult to get your child involved, we encourage you to explore these programs and see if your family is eligible.

Please share this post to help us spread the word to families in our community! ❤️
