Great news for tourism and our American friends!

Big news for St. John's!

St. John's International Airport has just announced that United Airlines is bringing back seasonal non-stop service between St. John's and Newark Liberty International Airport, connecting our region to the New York area for the first time since 2016.

The route will operate daily from June through September 2027, opening up easier access for guests from the eastern U.S and seamless onward connections through United's global network.

As our CEO, Paul Buggé, shared, audiences are already discovering Newfoundland and Labrador through stories like Come From Away and the latest Netflix series Below, and this connection makes it even easier to turn that interest into a visit.

This is an exciting milestone for our destination, and we can't wait to welcome more guests to St. John's.
