River Spirit Canoe Club

River Spirit Canoe Club The River Spirit Canoe Club is a family based indigenous team promoting a healthy lifestyle. We are always open to new participants.

Founded in Skwah (Pil'alt) of the Sto:lo territory, the River Spirit Canoe Club is located at the Chilliwack Landing. We travel each weekend during the spring and summer to a different reserve that hosts a canoe race. As east as Seabird Island, to as west as Victoria & Neah Bay, and as south as Seattle, we fundraise all year round to travel to these locations. From young to old, all are welcome to

come and try paddling whether it's your first time ever, or first time coming back. Come join us for some fun on the water. We work with the local Chilliwack School District to take the students out on the canoe every year. Preschool age and Elementary age children have been a part of this even in the past, but we would be open to middle school and high school students as well.
