Off for Maternity leave this Summer! I will miss teaching but soaking in precious moments with my first child and I will be back next Summer 2027☺️I’m happy to provide support or answer any questions if you’d like to message! Unfortunately the only other option I know of for lessons is going through the public pools.
My Tips!
Prioritize water safety. Teach your child what to do if they accidentally fall into the water by encouraging them to roll onto their back and keep their airway above the surface. Water safety is always the top priority and the most important skill they can learn.
Provide regular exposure to the water. Consistent practice helps build confidence, and confidence is the foundation for learning new swimming skills. Celebrate every small success, when children feel comfortable, safe, and confident in the water, developing new skills becomes much easier.
Games and songs are a great distraction in the water when learning new skills.
