Back to the Mat BJJ Back to the Mat BJJ offers kids and adult Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) is a martial art that focuses on grappling and ground fighting.

BJJ promotes the concept that a smaller person will be able to successfully defend themselves against a larger opponent using proper techniques. These techniques include joint-locks and chokes. Back to the Mat BJJ is a family run club located in Chestermere, Alberta. Our goal is to train all our students to have self-confidence, self-control and have the ability to defend themselves if necessary. No experience is required!
